LAST WEEK June 29, 2023
Presidential Transition at Highlander Golf Club

The Presidential Season is over for President Jill Leonard.  With over 70 people in attendance, it was a fun night of silly antics, laughter, and fellowship.   President Jill was presented with her very own song sung by PP Alice Meyer and PP Mike Kintner (Rotary Queen).   PP Rich Peters served as emcee and PP Kory Kalahar did an impression of what the hockey boys talk about.

It was evident that Jill does not have a future career as a goalie but did manage to block a few pucks that were thrown at her.   Not to worry, even though her Presidency is over, there will be lots of Montana stories without word limits.
"I cannot express enough how honored I am to have served as your president this past year.   I am only as good as the people I surround myself with".~ Jill Leonard

ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE.  Are you a peace builder?   Interested in being a positive influence in the world?
The Youth Exchange Committee is actively looking for host families for the 2023-2024 Rotary year. Youth Exchange is one of the best ways to promote peace across the world!    You are not required to host the entire year but a small portion.    What a fun time to share the beauty of Wenatchee Valley and life in an American family.    Reach out to Brett Riley or Alice Meyer for any questions or to commit.

APPLESEED CONTRIBUTORS WANTED- No Experience Necessary.
In the upcoming year, Secretary Frank will be taking a step back from created the Appleseed each week.  Jill Leonard has stepped up to lead a committee to produce the Appleseed (never fear, with Frank's help).   The committee is looking for people who will take one part of the Appleseed.   This could be providing meeting recaps. (you can always watch the recording for reference),  manage the calendar of events,   Write and article or two on difference subjects.
To volunteer...  Contact PP Jill here .
