Meg Kappler, Executive Director of the non-profit NCW Arts Alliance, was introduced by Kelli Scott who was able to book her quickly as a fill-in for the scheduled speaker who canceled late for health reasons.
The Alliance (NCW ARTS) is a brand-new, 501c-3 non-profit dedicated to establishing and maintaining a regional infrastructure that connects artists of all stripes to each other and to the communities of North Central Washington.
We are working to heighten awareness around Arts events and initiatives; support working artists; increase access to arts education and opportunities; and, in the process, strengthen the regional economy and enhance public wellness on behalf of all who call North Central Washington home.
We are in the home stretch of our first fiscal year, and we are so proud and excited to be launching our regional Artist Index, inclusive of all artistic disciplines. We offer a print and digital newsletter called the "ARTBEAT" and have partnered with the Wenatchee Downtown Association and Visit Wenatchee to rebrand the Wenatchee "First Fridays" experience. We are also fundraising and creating initial membership and partnership programs to help sustain the organization into the future.

Salmon Fest focuses on natural resource education and outdoor recreation and shares the cultural significance of the salmon to people of the Northwest. Without the help of our volunteers, this event and the countless memorable and inspiring experiences of children across Washington wouldn’t be possible!
You give your blood, sweat, and tears, your time, energy, skills, and so much more, and you do it out of the goodness of your heart. “Thank you” doesn’t even begin to describe our gratitude and appreciation. Know that you are changing lives and inspiring children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to become informed and proactive stewards for this planet. Your generosity is unmatched.
