Speaker Jose' Iniguez introduces his guests, as presiding Past President Terry Stuller looks on (far left) along with brother Ricardo (far right).
Jose', a member of the Pasco-Kennewick Rotary Club, spoke passionately about his love of the arts, especially music while promoting Encanto Arts statewide. Encanto Arts and the Iniguez family are on a mission to create scholarship opportunities for students interested in music.
An internationally recognized opera tenor, Jose' blessed the club by singing the national anthem acapella (Watch the video).
He is very proud that his family, pictured below, have been able to honor the legacy of his father, in that all of his father's children have become educated with 4-year degrees. He added that his father passed away just the day before at age 85.

Meet our Exchange Student
Annefleur Derksen is from Wierden, Netherlands. It has been her dream of Annefleur to be an exchange student and is incredibly appreciative of the opportunity to join Wenatchee Rotary this year as part of the rotary exchange program.
Prior to the exchange program, Annefleur attended school
in the nearby city of Almelo and biked to school every day. She lives with her parents (Rachel and Michael) along with her two brothers (Casper and Thijmen). Additionally, her family is currently hosting an exchange student from Mexico.
Annefleur has high academic aspirations and is currently
debating a career in astronomy or technical medicine and is looking to challenge herself intellectually while she’s here in the States. While she will miss her animals, a dog, 3 cats, a hamster, and five chickens, she looks forward to embracing the exchange
program and the opportunity to experience the Wenatchee Valley and our region.
Below is just a sample of some of the activities Annefleur wants to do. Feel free to reach out to Brett Riley to coordinate.
1) Lot’s of skiing
2) Go to a big sports game (as long as it’s not a husky game, per Brett)
3) Downtown Seattle
4) Go to a fair
5) Visit the Seattle Arts Museum
6) Visit an Aquarium
7) Go to a Concert
8) Visit the Space Needle
The Rotary Clubs of the Wenatchee Valley will be at the Farmer's Market on Saturdays in October collecting money for Polio. This is a perfect opportunity to educate and collect money for Polio.
