Join President Gary Provo and the Wenatchee Rotary Board for the annual business meeting.
Our annual business meeting is a pivotal event where we share the vision of the board of directors and health of the club.
One of the most crucial aspects will be the election of a new president for the term 2026-27. Additionally, the election of three new directors (2024-2027) is on the agenda, shaping the vision and strategy for the years to come.
Indeed, there was Christmas energy at the meeting. We hosted a wonderful group of students from Columbia Elementary. Santa made an appearance to deliver wrapped gifts and spread holiday cheer and humor. There was a good turnout of Rotarians and guests.
The K-2 children were Jonathan, Sandra, Brooklyn, Carlos, Liz, Uriah, Kayden, Santiago, Marijane, Evelyn, lily, Juana and Estrella.
There was:
Singing of Christmas Carols
Donations of personal items for Early Act Club at Pinnacles Prep
Playing of Fun Games with kids and adults
Delicious Food
Much warm fellowship
Our annual $ donations to the Salvation Army.
Many table hosts helped the children feel welcome.
Thanks to Santa and all of the elves and assistant elves.
In order to abide by the Rotary International brand standards, we are updating our name badges to be brand compliant. This is not mandatory, there will be a bulk order placed on December 16 for all prepared orders. The cost is $10. Email Frank Clifton to order a replacement badge. It will look similar to this, without the words "since 1921".

Waste Loop Needs Volunteers
Waste Loop recently received 2 grants focused on building the circular economy and reducing waste in NCW. The first grant supports the development and implementation of monthly repair cafes. These will be free community events for folks to bring items that are broken to get repaired by volunteer fixers! Right now I'm in the process of finding and recruiting fixers - people with skills in sewing/mending, bicycle repair, small electronics, general tinkering, etc. To sign up, complete the volunteer form.
The 2nd grant is larger in scope and supports the development of a ReUse center! This will eventually be a one-stop shop for salvaged building materials, tool library, and workshop space (with Repair Cafes ultimately housed within this space). We just signed a year lease on a space in Cashmere! It's a very exciting undertaking, and we've expanded our team by hiring 2 people to focus solely on this project. Right now (through December 15th) we are accepting community submissions for a name. If you have ideas feel free to submit here.
Any questions can be directed to Natalie Williams.
Concessions at Town Toyota Center- WE NEED YOU!
Volunteers are needed for December 31, January 3, 20, 24, and 26.
Members who have not yet volunteered are in high demand! This is a fun way to meet other Rotarians, share the love of Rotary with the community, and raise funds for our club and its impact on the community. So far this Rotary year, we have earned $1,100+ volunteering with concessions. This helps keep our dues stable.
Make plans now to attend the next annual District Conference May 2-5 in beautiful Penticton, BC. You will have the opportunity to hang out with fellow American and Canadian Rotarians, hear compelling speakers, and participate in a service project.
The District Conference is your opportunity to see the vision of the district and the value of Rotary. Got questions? Ask AG Mike Kintner. The price of $350 increases to $400 after December.
The Rotary convention is where friendship and learning come together to inspire you. In Singapore you’ll connect with people of action from around the globe at Rotary’s biggest event of the year.
We’ll share fresh perspectives, inspiration, and hope – with each other and the world! The convention features world-class dining and cultural attractions, distinguished speakers, energizing breakout sessions, and much more.
Join us 25-29 May 2024 in Singapore where we’ll be Sharing Hope With the World! Click the image at left for more details.
Register by 15 December to take advantage of the early registration discount!
Lunch is no longer offered. You are welcome to bring in lunches from one of the restaurants in Pybus.
Board meetings are 3rd Thursday, 4:00 PM. Open to the public.
