Classification talks are an essential part of Rotary and the best way to get to know the member's life story, occupation, and passion for serving others. We all love these talks.
Both Nancy and Linda joined the club in January of 2023. These sisters work together to serve the Alatheia Riding Center mission.
Dorry was introduced by PP Don Myers who serves on the YMCA board of directors. Dorry applied a dynamic PowerPoint and "fly-through" video to describe the latest updates on the $25M capital campaign efforts, the initiative of Every Child Swims, and a current match challenge that’s going on right now to raise more funds. Because of grants and sale of the old property, about $4.3M remains to be raised which is supported by a generous matching-gift opportunity and legacy naming opportunities. Completion is planned for some time next year. Some of her images are shown below.
If you like to chat with your fellow members, this is a task for you. The club leadership is conducting a verbal survey to ask "What members want from our meetings?" Contact Carin Smith via text or email Carin 509-699-1593, carinsmithie@gmail.com to sign up to call ten members and ask them four short questions,

Our newest Paul Harris Fellow (PHF)
Roberta Alley was recognized as our newest Paul Harris Fellow by RI Foundation (TRF) Chair Frank Clifton, reflecting her recent generous gift of $1,000 to the Rotary International Foundation.
Any person donating $1000 (cumulative) to TRF becomes a Paul Harris Fellow. RI established this recognition in honor of Rotary's 1905 founder, Paul Harris. Our club's current incentive program can earn points towards a Paul Harris Fellow; for more information, click here or contact Frank.
(TRF is not affiliated with our club's Wenatchee Rotary Foundation, but both are IRS 401(c)3 tax-deductible organizations).

Club Database Improvements are Coming
Last fall the District decided to switch the membership management to DACdb. Similar to ClubRunner, DACdb handles all aspects of member management. The robust platform empowers districts and clubs worldwide to enhance member communication and strengthen community outreach. The club board of directors voted in November to switch from ClubRunner to DACdb. Over the next few months, a team of members will be working on our transition to DACdb. We are looking for individuals who can help clean up ClubRunner, transfer files to DACdb, and provide feedback on the new website. If you want to help with the transition, please reach out to Jill Leonard, ChaosControlMarketing@gmail.com.
You can check out DACdb using the link below. To log in use the same email address you use for Clubrunner. Click forgot/reset password and follow the instructions.
Please note we are in the transition process and not all information has been transferred.
We will be offering training once our data is transferred.
Lunch is no longer offered. You are welcome to bring in lunches from one of the restaurants in Pybus.
