2023 Wenatchee Rotary Foundation Scholarships

It is the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee to award scholarships to:
Cindy Gonzalez Villa – EHS graduate ’23 w/3.8 GPA
- Active in student government – ASB Vice President
- Goal = WSU or GCU majoring in Business Entrepreneurship
- Owns/operates two businesses – photography and flowers
- Amount awarded $1600
Diego Cuevas Bielmas – WHS graduate ’23 w/3.47 GPA
- Key Club member, volunteering at WVMCC
- Goal = CWU majoring in Mechanical Engineering
- Amount awarded $1600
David Guzman Valente – WHS graduate ’23 w/4.0 GPA; WVC AA ’23 w/4.0 GPA
- Many varsity sport and academic leadership awards
- Goal = WSU majoring in Computer Science

Coby Anne Riches – WHS graduate ’23 w/3.8 GPA

This year, the Wenatchee Rotary Foundation (WRF) awarded 12 scholarships totaling about $19,100. Cost for supporting 3 new ’21 scholarships plus continuing support for 9 continuing: - $14,300 for 9 continuing scholarships - 4,800 for 3 new Class of ’21 scholarships - Total = $19,100 for the 2021-22 school year
